ABOUT ME

I grew up in the armed forces, moving with my parents and experiencing different cultures allowing me to develop an open mind. My military family are as important to me as my biological family and this has shaped my passion for supporting military personnel, veterans, spouses/partners and children.

Having worked as a Holistic Therapist for 20 years I saw first hand how much the mind can effect every aspect of your life. As a qualified counsellor I am here to join you on your journey to explore your thoughts and feelings. I work with adults and young people from the age of 13 years up in a holistic style. I use a range of counselling theories and mindfulness all tailored to your therapeutic goals and needs. I am a Person Centred Counsellor which means there will be no judgement within our therapeutic relationship and we will explore possibilities together. We can discus any issues you wish to bring to counselling.

As well as my private practice, I work with St Barnabas Hospice as part of their counselling team supporting people across Lincolnshire who have experienced loss. I have also worked with Lincolnshire Centre for Grief and Loss as a children and young person counsellor. During the Covid-19 pandemic I supported a Secondary School Academy offering counselling to their Sixth Form students who were struggling with anxiety and exam pressure.
